Brian Rae was organist in Toronto's St. Michael Cathedral
and alumnus of St. Michael Choir School. During his active career, he
held several positions at the school, including Director of Choral
Music.
As a boy, inspired by Msgr. Ronan and the staff of the choir school and
later by his teacher and predecessor Victor Togni (Togni Inventions) he
pursued a career in music. He produced and played on more than 8 CD's
and his knowledge of the choral repertoire is only equal to his
commitment to music excellence.
Brian has performed all across Canada, the US and Europe as a Conductor,
accompanist, solo organist and presenter of workshops in organ and
choral music. He has contributed his talent to several charitable
fundraisers. Brian was also made a knight of St. Gregory in recognition
of his contribution to choral music.
