Lyric Dubee

Lyric Dubee is a rock/pop/blues/jazz artist, from Barrie, ON. Although he can be classified by so many different genres of music, he’s created his own personalized style called Revolution Rock. Lyric writes all of his own music and lyrics and many consider Lyric to be an old soul with a sound that is new and refreshing.  Lyric at the age of 15 has already released 2 full length albums and has performed at benefit concerts and large music festivals such as NXNE, Canadian Music Week and headlined The Music By The Bay Festival in Pickering.
His first album, 'Broken Dreams' was released when he was just 12 with over 150 attending the CD release party.   With his second album “Alive”, the CD release party sold out with 350 people in attendance.
Lyric’s music has been featured on Rock 95’s “New Music Hour”, he has had numerous live performances on Rogers TV and his first album was used as the soundtrack for an episode of their show “New Slang”.  Lyric performed LIVE on K Rock’s Humble and Fred Show, was interviewed on CBC radio, and his video for the song “Hello Beautiful” is in regular rotation on Pizza Pizza TV in Southern Ontario. Lyric won the BEST YOUNG SONGWRITERS award at the Barrie New Music Festival 2011 and recently won the La Musique Circle music competition at The Rockpile in Toronto.
